Position Summary:

Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of servers while performing/assisting the repair process.

 

Essential Functions:

·        Repair or replace parts as necessary for servers.

·        Use of tools and test equipment of various types, to repair servers.

·        Disassembles and/or reassembles units according to the applicable work instructions.

·        Orders correct parts using the proper procedures.

·        Ensure quality repair according to work instructions and process flows.

·        Responsible for inspecting products to ensure it is labeled correctly.

·        Responsible for completing applicable paperwork completely and accurately.

·        Responsible for entering repair data accurately into the QMS shop floor system.

·        Document and communicate repair issues to engineering.

·        Data Collection and analysis for use in problem solving.

·        Meet daily & weekly goals for production output.

·        Follow written and verbal work instructions.

·        Use hand tools and equipment to move product from one area to another.

·        Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.

·        Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following 5S.

·        Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.

·        Other responsibilities as assigned.

 

Education and Experience:

·        High school diploma or equivalent.

·        Previous Lenux experience preferred.

·        CompTia and/or A+ Certifications preferred.

·        A minimum of 6-month Repair experience preferred.

 

Other Skills and Abilities:

·        Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required, hearing protection, etc.

·        Ability to read and interpret written instructions and photos.

·        Ability to use hand tools and equipment.

·        Attention to detail and accuracy.

·        Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.

·        Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.

·        Basic math skills.

·        Intermediate Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc. skills

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·        Ability to work a flexible schedule.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

·        Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

·        Ability to bend, stoop, stand for prolonged periods.

·        Ability to move about production and warehouse facilities.

·        Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment occasionally.
