This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of finished goods, ensuring proper warehouse organization, and supporting efficient shipping operations. The role involves monitoring and auditing warehouse processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and proper training protocols. It supports the warehouse supervisor by providing feedback on employee performance, helping assign tasks, and handling necessary documentation. The role also assists with problem-solving, process improvements, and participation in departmental projects and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate inventory and assist with warehouse organization.
Audit and monitor shipping activities to ensure policy compliance.
Ensure employee adherence to safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
Report employee, safety, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Assist in employee task assignments and provide necessary PPE.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and ISO documentation.
Cooperate in departmental projects and follow schedules to meet goals.
Must be physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs., standing 8 hours, and communicating effectively.
